Its Christmas morning, for many people, Christmas is a time of relaxation, joy and Indulgence in the good things life has to offer but for this little family, the overwhelming emotion is relief and thankfulness, because this Christmas is different to many others.
This Christmas the two small children have a new toy to play with, this Christmas there is food on the table, enough food to enjoy the day and see the family through until January when work is more available.
The reason it is different this Christmas is because this little family went to the Operation Anti-Freeze Christmas Soup Kitchen, and each child was given a toy and adults were given a Christmas hamper which had luxuries like tea and creamer, biscuits and a chocolate along with the basic necessities that will provide food for Christmas.
If you would like to be involved in helping those less fortunate to enjoy the wonderful time Christmas should be, take a look at our Get Involved page where for only R100 you can be a family’s Christmas Angel.
